1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing the Miktam website or using the Miktam application, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Miktam Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Miktam.
Miktam is developed and published by Rambler Group LLC. References to “Miktam,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms refer to the Miktam service and its operator, Rambler Group LLC.
2. Miktam is a reflection tool
Miktam provides private journaling, prayer and Scripture reflection features intended for personal reflection and faith-oriented journaling. Miktam is not a church, pastor, counselor, medical provider, legal adviser, financial adviser, or emergency service.
Automated reflections and other generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular situation. You are responsible for deciding how to use any generated content and should seek qualified human guidance when appropriate.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, devices, recovery information, and any other authentication methods used to access Miktam.
Because supported journal content is encrypted, losing required recovery information may make encrypted content permanently unrecoverable. Miktam cannot guarantee recovery of encrypted content when the necessary encryption information is no longer available.
4. Your journal content
You retain ownership of the journal entries, prayers, scans, voice transcripts, and other original content you create or submit to Miktam.
You grant Miktam the limited rights necessary to store, transmit, encrypt, decrypt when you request processing, and otherwise handle your content solely to provide the features you choose to use. The Privacy Policy explains these processes in greater detail.
5. Automated reflections and generated content
When you intentionally request a Scripture reflection, story, chapter, yearly book, scanned-text cleanup, or another automated feature, the content required for that request may be processed by third-party service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
Generated material is provided for personal reflection. It should not be treated as authoritative biblical interpretation, professional advice, or a substitute for your own judgment, prayer, Scripture reading, trusted community, or qualified professional support.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Some Miktam features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Purchases made through Apple are billed and managed through your Apple account and are subject to Apple’s applicable purchase and subscription terms.
Available plans, features, pricing, free trials, and renewal terms may change. The purchase screen shown before you subscribe controls the price and billing period that apply to that purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Miktam, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems, reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it, or use Miktam in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
8. Intellectual property
Miktam’s software, branding, design, website content, and other materials provided by us are owned by or licensed to Rambler Group LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Miktam software or branding to you.
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, or change the service. We do not guarantee that Miktam or every feature will always be available without interruption.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miktam is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free generated content, or that the service will meet every individual need.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rambler Group LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Miktam.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Miktam after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
